Prayagraj: The City Congress Committee members paid tribute to the great revolutionaries and freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Shivaram Rajguru and Sukhdev Thapar on their 95th martyrdom day. City Congress President Fuzail Hashmi, along with Kishore Varshney, Harikesh Tripathi, Anoop Tripathi, Parvez Siddiqui, Ram Manorath Saroj, Afroz Ahmad, Rakesh Srivastava, Dr. Anil Gaur, Nayan Kushwaha, Shahnawaz Qureshi, Rajkumar Shukla, Sartaj Mohammad, Sushmita Yadav, Pratima Tripathi, Rizwana Begum, Nasreen Bano, Kameshwar Sonkar, Mohd.Javed, Mohd. Naseem and others, reached at Azad Statue, Monday afternoon and offered floral tributes at Azad Park

They saluted the courage and patriotism of these brave martyrs and described them as a source of inspiration for the nation. They said that these revolutionaries never accepted the slavery of British rule. It is noteworthy that all three revolutionaries were executed by the British on this day in 1931 in connection with the Lahore Conspiracy Case.
