Prayagraj: Gautam Buddha’s birth anniversary, Buddha Purnima, was celebrated with great pomp and show at a hotel in Civil Lines under the aegis of the Samajik Seva Sahayog Sansthan. In his address, the organization’s president, Ranjit Singh, stated that all the principles laid down by Mahatma Buddha are still relevant today. He described it as both a religion and a path to a successful way of life. Describing Buddhism as a religion of compassion, peace, and humanity, he said that a person whose life combines these three qualities will surely reach the pinnacle of success. He guided the young people on this auspicious occasion, advising them to leave a stressful life and live a life full of goodwill. The program was conducted by the organization’s general secretary, BJP spokesperson Pawan Srivastava.
