Prayagraj: Patients will now be able to reach the Medicine Department, Surgery ICU and Surgery Emergency Ward in just two minutes, the route has also become shorter. In a significant initiative for the convenience of patients at Swarup Rani Nehru Hospital (SRN), a new direct route from the first floor of the Trauma Center to the Medicine Department has been opened today. With the opening of this route, the time taken to transport patients from the Trauma Center to the Medicine Department will be significantly reduced, and patients will now be able to reach the respective department in just two minutes.
Previously, patients had to leave the main entrance of the Trauma Center and take a long route to the Medicine Department, which was both time-consuming and labor-intensive. The opening of the new route will provide significant relief to patients, their families, and healthcare workers.
This route will not only facilitate access to the Medicine Department, but will also significantly shorten and facilitate access to the Surgery ICU, Surgery Emergency Ward, and other critical departments. This will allow critical patients to be transported to their respective wards via stretcher and wheelchair in less time, increasing the efficiency of emergency services.
On Saturday, under the direction of Principal Dr. A.K. Verma, the route was inspected, ensuring cleanliness and necessary arrangements. Associate Professor Dr. Jitendra Shukla of the Department of Medicine, Dr. Anil Singh of the Department of Anesthesia, Dr. Suryakant Ojha, the hospital administration, and the engineering team played a key role in implementing this work.
Principal Dr. A.K. Verma stated that providing better and faster healthcare services to patients at the hospital is his top priority. He explained that this system has been implemented to establish better communication between the Trauma Center, Medicine Department, and Surgery Block. This will speed up patient treatment, save time, and ensure prompt medical care for critical patients.
