After the Eid-ul-Adha prayer at the Qazi Sahib Bakshi Bazaar mosque, Imam-e-Jamaat Maulana Jawwadul Haider Rizvi, while explaining the virtues of Eid-e-Qurban in his sermon, said that Allah Ta’ala told Hazrat Ibrahim three times in his dreams that he should sacrifice his most beloved son Ismail. Hazrat Ibrahim narrated that dream to his wife and son, then the son said, “Father, you should immediately implement the order of Allah, your son will be worthy of this deed.” After the consent of his wife and son, Hazrat Ibrahim prepared his son and took him to the hill of Mena. On the way, three people tried to stop them from doing this order in different ways, but both father and son rejected them and said that you are devils. Today, following the same tradition, Muslims from all over the country after Hajj On the hill of Mena, people throw stones at the pillar made in the name of those three devils. And until this ritual is not performed, Hajj is not complete. On the other side, as soon as Hazrat Ibrahim wanted to put a knife on the neck of his son Ismail, he found a ram slaughtered by Allah and saw his son Ismail standing nearby smiling. Maulana said, let us take an oath today that we will sacrifice our jealousy and arrogance and will set an example of harmony, brotherhood, love and humanity among ourselves.
