Bharatiya Yoga Sansthan and Narayan Swarup Hospital launched public awareness campaign
Yoga camps, rallies and public relations programmes will continue till June 21
Prayagraj: On the occasion of International Yoga Day on June 21st, the National Yoga Institute, the Yoga Sadhana Kendra Bakshi Dam branch, and Narayan Swarup Hospital jointly launched the “Do Yoga, Stay Healthy” public awareness campaign. As part of the campaign, a rally was organized, promoting the message “Leave your mobile, embrace yoga.”
The campaign was led by Regional Head RK Srivastava, Center Head JS Rathore, and Narayan Swaroop Hospital Co-Founder Rajendra Bahadur Singh. The rally encouraged children, youth, women, and senior citizens to adopt yoga.
Speakers noted that stress, irregular lifestyles, obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart disease are currently on the rise. Yoga balances not only the body but also the mind and spirit. Regular yoga practice helps control weight, reduces the risk of disease, relieves stress and depression, and boosts immunity.
Many yoga practitioners, including BN Singh, Suresh Vishwakarma, Arun Kumar Pandey, Indirakant Dwivedi, RC Srivastava, Jitendra Dwivedi, Digvijay Pandey, Kameshwar Singh, Juhi Singh, Shashikala Pandey, Alka Srivastava, Kalpana Dubey, Usha Sahu, and Pushpa Srivastava, participated in the rally. All pledged to practice yoga themselves and to spread awareness among others. The organisers informed that till June 21, yoga practice, awareness rally and public relations programmes will be organised every morning so that more and more people move towards healthy living.
