Prayagraj: City Congress Committee President Fuzail Hashmi condemned the siege of the City Congress Committee office at Chowk on Monday by BJP workers, enraged by the party’s opposition to Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar over the issue of vote theft. Hashmi described this as a manifestation of BJP leaders’ frustration and panic. He accused the CEC and the Modi government of collusion in the vote theft and SIR cases. He stated that the India Alliance’s movement for Gyanesh Kumar’s resignation, led by Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi, will continue until justice is achieved. Kishor Varshney, Harikesh Tripathi, Vijay Mishra, Arshad Ali, Vinay Dubey, Anoop Tripathi, Shashi Prakash, Tabrez Ahmed, and Nafees Qureshi also criticized the BJP. “At 11 a.m., BJP workers attacked the City Congress Committee office, using abusive language against our leaders and national leaders of the Congress Party, and they were given a befitting reply,” said Kishor Varshney.
