Prayagraj: Vision India successfully concluded its Harmonious Heritage Summit at Rambagh Palace, Jaipur, in the presence of Akhilesh Yadav, National President of the Samajwadi Party and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. The summit brought together a diverse group of intellectuals, cultural historians, and young leaders to deliberate on ways to preserve and enhance India’s shared cultural heritage.

At the Vision India: Harmonious Heritage Summit, Akhilesh Yadav emphasized the importance of focusing on the ever-evolving nature of India’s harmonious heritage in the context of the country’s skilled youth and the vast socio-economic potential associated with it. He emphasized that by combining innovation with ancient traditional knowledge, India can transform its cultural diversity into a sustainable engine of social harmony and global influence. Akhilesh Yadav said, “Jaipur is known as the Pink City, and pink is truly the color of harmony—after all, it’s born from the perfect blend of red and white. Not just the name, but the city’s art, architecture, music, and cuisine all reflect its deep-rooted multicultural harmony.”

Harmony promotes peace and tranquility, which in turn creates an environment conducive to progress and prosperity. True progress and prosperity ensure that everyone has equal opportunities to advance, thereby eliminating discrimination. It bridges the gap between oppressor and oppressed, or oppressed and oppressor. Essentially, it eliminates inequalities and leads to the establishment of a state based on social justice—and this is our ultimate goal.

Taking this theme forward, he said, “To achieve this, we will continue our dedicated efforts through initiatives like Vision India: Harmonious Heritage. And we will always strive to achieve this, and we will achieve it, whether it takes years or centuries!” He said that harmony is the key to development.

An expert session, featuring a panel of distinguished speakers with extensive experience in the field of heritage and legacy, preceded the super session, which also featured Alok Ranjan, former Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh. Rajiv Arora, co-founder of Amrapali Jewels, said, “Shared truth is eternal truth.” He added, “Embrace and utilize India’s uniqueness and culture. This is how heritage and harmony flourish; no one else in the world has such a heritage. Beautiful cities like Lucknow, beautiful cities like Jaipur, and our temples and civilization—they must be preserved and respected.”

“Heritage is a form of art and, in fact, without harmony, we can neither exist nor progress,” said Yogesh Choudhary, Director, Jaipur Rugs. The event was organized by Member of Parliament, Dr. Rajiv Rai, and moderated by Abhishek Mishra, Professor at IIM and former Minister of Skill Development, Uttar Pradesh.
