Prayagraj: Prayagraj Division made special arrangements for the convenience of candidates appearing for the UP Home Guard Recruitment Examination. In view of the large number of candidates traveling, the Prayagraj Division administration operated special exam trains as needed, ensuring that candidates did not face any inconvenience in their travel.
Under the direction of Divisional Railway Manager/Prayagraj, Mr. Rajneesh Agrawal, the entire system was managed in a systematic manner. Special arrangements were made at platforms, ticket counters, and entry/exit gates at Prayagraj Junction, Kanpur Central, and other major stations for the convenience of the candidates. Additionally, a divisional war room maintained constant monitoring through CCTV cameras installed at major stations. Officials continuously monitored crowd conditions, passenger movement, and platform arrangements, ensuring immediate action in case of any inconvenience.
The details of exam special trains operated by Prayagraj Division are given below:
1. Kanpur Central – Lucknow Exam Special train departed from Kanpur Central at 18:10 hrs.
2. 02 Exam Special trains for Kanpur Central – Prayagraj Junction departed from Kanpur Central at 13:27 hrs and 18:40 hrs respectively.
3. An exam special train was operated from Kanpur Central to Veerangana Laxmibai Jhansi.
4. Kanpur Central to Fatehpur MEMU train extended to Subedarganj.
To ensure the safety and security of candidates, Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Government Railway Police (GRP) personnel were deployed at major stations and trains. Additionally, Commercial Department officials and staff also visited station premises to guide passengers and provide necessary information. Ticket checking staff and help desk personnel provided candidates with platform information, train timings, and other essential information.
The railway administration has made all necessary arrangements for the convenience, safety, and smooth operation of the candidates. The concerned departments have been alerted to ensure crowd control, guidance, cleanliness, and necessary assistance within the station premises. Railway personnel have been given special instructions to ensure that candidates do not face any inconvenience.
To maintain smooth crowd management, additional staff were deployed at major stations, and passengers were encouraged to enter and exit in an orderly manner. Important information was also continuously provided to passengers through the public address system, preventing unnecessary crowding on platforms and ensuring smooth traffic flow.
