Prayagraj: The Uttar Pradesh Journalist Welfare Council has entrusted senior journalist Shri Vidya Kant Mishra with a significant responsibility, appointing him as the district spokesperson for Prayagraj. The appointment letter was issued following the recommendation of the council’s core committee, and the news of this appointment sparked a wave of joy among journalists and their well-wishers. In the appointment letter, the Council expressed confidence that Mr. Mishra, while discharging his responsibilities, will always serve as a leading spokesperson for the interests, safety, and dignity of his fellow journalists. It is hoped that under his leadership, the organization will gain new direction and strength.
It is noteworthy that Vidyakant Mishra, a recognized journalist with Hindustan News Agency, has been actively involved in journalism for the past several decades. Through his powerful writing, he has consistently highlighted the social evils and problems prevalent in society. Furthermore, he continuously strives to address these issues, contributing significantly to positive change in society.
Upon Vidyakant Mishra’s nomination as the district spokesperson, District President Dinesh Tiwari, State Vice President Arun Sonkar, and Secretary Balram Shukla accorded him a warm welcome with a garland. Outlining his vision for working for the welfare of journalists, Vidyakant Mishra clearly stated that for him, no journalist is big or small; everyone is simply a journalist.
