Prayagraj: Dr. A.K. Verma, Principal of Motilal Nehru Medical College, today inspected the Children’s Hospital building under construction on the SRN Hospital campus. This project is being conducted under the supervision of the Honorable Allahabad High Court. During the inspection, he reviewed the progress, quality, and various technical arrangements of the construction work and directed the officials of the executing agency to complete the work within the stipulated timeframe.

During the inspection, the double oxygen pipeline system, patient lift installation, glass fittings, and electrical panel boards were specifically reviewed. The Principal stressed the need to complete all tasks promptly and with quality so that the hospital can be ready for operation as soon as possible.

On this occasion, a detailed discussion was held with the Vice-Principal and Head of the Department of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Mohit Jain and Head of the Department of Pediatrics, Dr. Manisha Maurya, on preparing the action plan and necessary protocols for shifting the services to the new Children’s Hospital, so that the patients do not face any inconvenience during the operation of the hospital.

During the inspection, Associate Professor of Medicine Department Dr. Jitendra Shukla, Dr. Suryakant Ojha, Dr. Abhishek Pratap Singh, Dr. Anil Singh of Anesthesia Department, Dr. Akhilesh Yadav, Dr. Suryabhan Kushwaha and Shri Amarnath Yadav along with other officers and employees were present.
