Prayagraj: Tensions escalated between two parties over a land dispute in the village of Tardih, in the Tharwai police station area. The victim, Neeraj Kumar Prajapati, filed a complaint at the Tharwai police station, accusing several people of assault, attempted murder, and firing.

According to the complaint, there was already an ongoing land dispute in the village, and an application had been filed under Section 24 of the CrPC. It is alleged that the opposing party was trying to change the nature of the disputed land. When they objected, an argument broke out between the two parties, which escalated into a violent altercation.

The victim alleged that Dayashankar Yadav, Ravishankar Yadav, Sankata Prasad Yadav, Amitesh Yadav, Ritesh Yadav, Nitesh Yadav, and others arrived armed with sticks, iron rods, axes, knives, and other sharp weapons and attacked him. It is alleged that shots were fired during the attack, resulting in serious injuries to the victim. Following the incident, the victim went to the Tharwai police station and filed a case against the accused, demanding action. Police are investigating the matter.
