Prayagraj: On Saturday, the Holy Trinity School held its annual sports and athletic meet. Principal D. A. Luke and Academic Supervisor C.B. Luke welcomed chief visitor Col. Ramneik Goswami, CO 2 UP Arty Bty. NCC. The athletic meet began with a ceremonial march past of four houses headed by school sports captain Akshat Kushwaha, followed by sports vice-captain Aradhya Kesarwani, Raghav Makhija, and Mysha Afzal.
The principal guest took the traditional four-color salute, calling the Athletic Meet 2024 ‘open’. The primary guest’s inspiring address emphasized the value of athletics and collaboration in overcoming life’s problems. “Life is a marathon, not a sprint,” he said, emphasizing the need of consistency.
The junior field exhibition, which included several exercises, thrilled the parents. Mrs. C. B. Luke, the academic supervisor, recognized and commended the instructors’ efforts. She also thanked the parents for their support and praised the toddlers’ skills.
Saint Andrew’s House won the prestigious Athletic House Trophy for 2024-2025 with 509 points, followed by Saint Patrick’s House with 451 points and Saint Peter’s House with 326 points in third place. Finally, Headmistress R. S. Mandal offered a vote of appreciation, thanking the Principal, Academic Supervisor, parents, and teachers. The Sports Meet ended with the National Anthem.
