Craft Haat resonated with mesmerizing Panihari, Chapeli and Lavani dances
Prayagraj: The visitors who came to the fourth cultural evening of the National Crafts Fair organized by NCZCC in the premises of Shilp Haat, entwined as a link of rich multifaceted colors of Indian culture, saw the uniformity of the rich cultural heritage and also enjoyed the cultural programs drenched in Ganga Yamuna culture. In the craft fair, on one hand, the smell of different types of cuisines, on the other hand, attracting women, with many types of handmade indigenous clothes and materials. The beauty of fragrant perfumes is adding grandeur to the craft fair. Terracotta and wooden toys and home decoration items attracted people’s attention. On Wednesday, artists from different states united diversity and organized such a series of programs that the Muktakashi stage echoed with applause. In the episode of cultural evening, bhajan singer Sanjay Mitra of Prayagraj gave pace to the program with a series of bhajans in his sweet voice – Shyam Rang Ranga Re, Hey Dukh Bahan Ho Rahi Jai Jai Kar and Mera Rang De Basanti Chola and Wah Kaun Hai Tera Musafir. …’s presentation was greatly appreciated by the audience. In the same sequence, Sharad Anuragi and his team who came from Mahoba presented Mahoba’s battle ‘Khat Khat Khat Khat Dega Bole Baje Chhapak Chhapak Talwar’ through singing ‘Alha’. After this, beautiful Rauf dance was presented on the melodious tune of Sarangi by the artists of Kashmir dressed in their traditional costumes on the songs. Prakash Visht and his fellow artists brought the sweet fragrance of the soil of Uttarakhand to the audience through Chhapeli dance. After this, Shraddha Satvidkar and her team from Maharashtra presented the traditional Lavani folk dance of Maharashtra and made the audience dance. Apart from this, Shivaji Rao and his team from Tamil Nadu presented Kadgam-Mayur dance, while Vanraj Singh and his team presented Garba, the famous folk dance of Gujarat. Renuraj Singh conducted the program.
