CM has ordered an enquiry into the entire issue

Prayagraj: Damocles sword is hanging around the neck of Jal Kal SDO under Kareli jurisdiction, who has reportedly amassed whopping amount of wealth via illicit means. The matter of amassing disproportionate assets by allegedly corrupt SDO Ansari has reached CMO office. If sources are to be believed then CM has ordered an enquiry into the entire issue and appointed a nodal officer, who has been asked to submit the report at the earliest.     

The allegedly corrupt SDO is also involved in Kumbh works. Harassed and hounded by his repetitive extortion demands, aggrieved parties have met Kumbh fair officer, Vijay Kiran Anand and narrated their unending ordeal. “The matter has reached to the notice of higher officials and action likely on the basis of outcome of report submitted by investigative officer,” an official retorted angrily when posed with queries by medipersons on the issue. On the condition of anonymity, he admitted that several complaints have been compiled against Jal Kal SDO Ansari and action against him is on the anvil according to the zero tolerance policy of Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath, who has adopted an iron fist policy against corrupt and vowed to ensure their place behind gallows for being involved and promoting criminal acts.
