Ordered to remain alert, arrange dry ration for flood victims

In calamity, our govt stands with the people: Nandi

Prayagraj: Industrial Development Minister of Uttar Pradesh Government Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi inspected the village Katka Dera of flood affected Karchana Tehsil of Prayagraj district on Monday. Minister Nandi went among the flood affected people and observed the flood situation as well as enquired about the well-being of the flood affected people. Minister Nandi directed the officials to make arrangements for dry ration and fodder for cattle in the flood affected areas.

Minister Nandi, while instructing the officials, said that the water level of Ganga and Yamuna is continuously increasing. In such a situation, the water level should be continuously monitored through flood posts. He also instructed to coordinate with the village heads and make preparations to evacuate people safely and take them to relief camps if required. Minister Nandi said that the Uttar Pradesh government under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is committed to providing all facilities to the flood affected people. The government and the administration are standing shoulder to shoulder with the people in this hour of disaster. They are fully prepared and alert.
