Three day long Mother Vindhyavasini Mata birth anniversary festival started

Prayagraj: The three-day Maa Vindhyavasini Devi birth anniversary celebrations were inaugurated by Maa Vindhyavasini Pad Yatra Samiti from the Mutthiganj head office by the committee’s president Neeraj Kesarwani and coordinator Ghanshyam Gupta by performing puja and prayers as per the rituals.

On this occasion, Maa Vindhyavasini Devi was seated on a grand chariot and the Darshan Shobha Pad Yatra of Maa Vindhyavasini Ji was inaugurated by BJP spokesperson Rajesh Kesarwani by performing a grand Aarti of Maa Vindhyavasini Devi.

The Yatra included the national flag and religious flag along with drums, nagada, DJ band, Amrit Kalash, Maa Kali’s tableau, and tableau of Maa Vindhyavasini coming from various other areas. Committee president Neeraj Kesarwani said that this Darshan Shobha Pad Yatra is being carried out on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Maa Vindhyavasini Devi on the full moon day of the month of Shravan in a traditional manner since 1980.

Media in-charge Rajesh Kesarwani said that all the pilgrims will reach Vindhyachal Dham on the second day of Bhadon month on August 11 and after paying obeisance to Maa Vindhyavasini Devi, they will celebrate the birth anniversary and organize a feast.

The Darshan Shobha Yatra will take rest after reaching the temple of Maa Vindhyavasini Devi after passing through Mutthiganj, Hatia Police Booth, Katghar, Gaughat, Bairhana, Naini, Rampur.

Sanjay Jaiswal, Ramji Gupta, Councilor Neeraj Gupta, Manjeet Gupta, Manish Jaiswal, Sachin Jaiswal, Gyan Kesarwani, Dinesh Jaiswal, Abhilash Kesarwani, Ajay Agrahari, Rahul Sagar, Parasnath, Aniket Sahu, Bhola Sahu, Virendra Jaiswal, Shatrughan Jaiswal, Dinesh Jaiswal, Ishu, Anshu Kanaujia, Jagga Kesarwani, and hundreds of pilgrims took part in the yatra.
