Prayagraj: North Central Zone Cultural Center, Prayagraj, Ministry of Culture, Government of India organized a special program of patriotic songs in the center auditorium on Monday under the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign. In the program, freedom fighters and senior citizens came on stage and presented patriotic songs, whose melodious voices moved the people present and the atmosphere was filled with patriotism.
Students of Rani Revati Devi Inter College also participated enthusiastically in the program. This confluence of the young generation and the senior generation further strengthened the spirit of the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign. Assistant Director Surendra Kashyap honored the freedom fighters and senior citizens by garlanding them and described their contribution as a source of inspiration.
On this occasion, many dignitaries including Vinod Shankar Dwivedi, Ravi Shankar, Vimal Chandra Dubey, Shashi Kapoor Gupta, Lakshmi Singh and Principal of Rani Revati Devi Inter College Bake Bihari Pandey were present. In the event, the audience enthusiastically encouraged the artists and guests with thunderous applause.
The Center Director said that the aim of the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign is to encourage a sense of respect and attachment towards the national flag among the people. This is not just a government initiative, but a resolution to ignite the flame of patriotism in the hearts of the people. The procession will be held on Tuesday: As part of the campaign, a grand Tiranga Yatra will be organised on Tuesday at 9 am. The Yatra will start from Hanuman Mandir (Civil Lines) and will conclude at Chandrashekhar Azad Park via Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Company Garden, Hindu Hostel Square. On this occasion, a large number of school children, youth, representatives of various organisations and common people will participate carrying the tricolour. The Centre has appealed to the citizens to enthusiastically participate in the Tiranga Yatra and make this unique patriotic campaign a success by hoisting the national flag at their homes.
