Prayagraj: While chairing the meeting of OBC Morcha at the BJP office in Civil Lines on Friday, BJP Prayagraj Metropolitan President Sanjay Gupta said that the respect that the backward and extremely backward classes have received in the Modi government at the Center has never been received before. While the NDA government took historic decisions, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also took many tough decisions. In the last 11 years, every step of the NDA government has been dedicated to service, good governance and poor welfare. OBC Morcha strengthened the BJP. Whether it was the 2022 assembly elections or the 2024 Lok Sabha elections or the assembly by-elections, the OBC Morcha contributed 100 percent in all and the same is expected for 2027 as well. What could not be done for the OBC community in the 70 years of independence, the Modi government has done it in the last 11 years. In the last 70 years, the OBC community felt neglected. But the Modi government has taken historic decisions for the OBC community and has worked to give them respect in the government. The long-running OBC Commission was formed in the Modi government. During the decades of Congress rule, OBC community did not benefit; rather, Congress always worked to humiliate and harass the OBC community. Today, OBCs are represented in the BJP government at the center and in the state. The OBC Morcha has an important responsibility in the organization. The meeting was conducted by Ghanshyam Maurya.
