Futsal Competition on National Sports Day

Prayagraj: On the occasion of National Sports Day, Major Dhyan Chand’s birthday, Northern Football Academy organised a U-15 Futsal Competition in Prayagraj at the handball court of Company Bagh. Football coach Indranil Ghosh said that the final match of the team championship between Northern Football Academy and Youth Football Academy ended on a scorecard of 3-3. From Northern’s side Vedant, Rahul, Shadab scored one goal each while Youth Academy’s Arham scored two and Devangan scored one goal. At the end of the match the score was 3-3, after which the tiebreaker could not take place due to poor light and both the teams were declared joint winners. Indranil Ghosh conducted the programme.
