Prayagraj: On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, Rotary Club Academia celebrated its annual ‘Nation Builder Awards’ event with great enthusiasm. The event took place in the Zahida Auditorium of Benhur School, where a total of 50 teachers from 27 educational institutions were honored.

The chief guest of the program was Professor Yogeshwar Tiwari of Allahabad University. Professor Najeeb Al Hasan, Dean of Management Faculty of IERT Prayagraj and Assistant Governor of the club Rotarian Dr. Astitwa Agarwal were present as special guests.

Chief Guest Professor Yogeshwar Tiwari appreciated the social work of Rotary Club and while congratulating all the respected teachers, he highlighted the importance of education. The program was conducted by Rotarian Asra Nawaz and Rotarian Alina Khan. The club’s founder president Rotarian Tariq Khan and current president Rotarian Dr. Syed Nazim, past president Rotarian Dr. Afroz Jahan and immediate past president Rotarian Aftab Ahmed presented mementos to the guests. In the end, project director Rotarian Sheeba Khan expressed gratitude to all the guests and teachers. List of honored teachers is compiled.
