Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya, symbol of classical education and social protection: ABHILASHA GUPTA NANDI
Prayagraj: Industrial Development Minister of Uttar Pradesh Government Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi on Saturday inaugurated the CC road construction works constructed at a cost of Rs. 1 crore 1 crore 75 lakh 27 thousand in various areas of his Prayagraj city southern assembly constituency and the beautification work of the historic Neem tree along with Saudamini Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya dedicated to the upliftment of Sanskrit. Minister Nandi promised to make the historic Saudamini Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya, dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Sanskrit language, more beautiful with his MLA fund and other items. During this, Minister Nandi took a walk in his area and met the people and listened to their problems. Former Mayor of Prayagraj, Mrs. Abhilasha Gupta Nandi, the proposer of the development works under construction, was also present during this time. Minister Nandi inaugurated the newly constructed hall and beautification work with MLA fund of Rs. 17 lakh 98 thousand in Saudamini Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya campus, committed and dedicated to the preservation and promotion of India’s rich cultural and educational heritage and Sanskrit language. Beautification work has been done from MLA fund near the historic neem tree, a memorial of the martyrs of 1587 at Chowk intersection. It was inaugurated by Minister Nandi.
Addressing the function organized at Saudamini Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya, Minister Nandi said that it is a matter of great pride that an institute dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Sanskrit, carrying forward the tradition of Acharya, is established in his constituency. He will not step back from providing whatever possible help is required for its development.
Apart from this, Minister Nandi has sanctioned Rs 14 lakh 97 thousand in Dhobiana Hata Bahadurganj, Rs 5 lakh 63 thousand in Menshi Mali’s Hata, Rs 21 lakh 50 thousand in Shivji Park and Chamrauti Basti, Rs 19 lakh 65 thousand from Varun Singh’s house to Rajendra Pratap Singh’s house on GT Road main road, Rs 7 lakh 22 thousand around Sheetla Devi temple and up to Ratnesh Yadav’s house on SC Basu Road, Rs 10 lakh 77 thousand from Maya Agarwal’s house to Sinha ji’s house on SC Basu Road, Rs 21 lakh in the lanes around Zero Road Chinese Dharamshala, Rs 10 lakh 38 thousand in several lanes adjacent to Johnsonganj, Rs 7 lakh for construction of lane on Zero Road Ghantaghar main road, Rs 3 lakh 93 thousand up to Sharad Malviya’s house in Chowk Batasa Mandi Tripolia Gate, Rs 10 lakh 33 thousand up to Baurhenath temple on Bhartiya Bhawan main road, Rs 6 lakh up to Jagat Narayan Agarwal’s house in Uncha Mandi 22 thousand, inaugurated the construction work of CC road built at a cost of Rs. 13 lakh 79 thousand till the house of Ginni Lal Gupta in Atrasuiya.
Mrs. Abhilasha Gupta Nandi, former Mayor of Prayagraj said that Saudamini Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya is more than an educational institution. It is a symbol of classical education and social mentorship.
