Prayagraj: On the occasion of Hindi Diwas, Rotary Prayagraj Platinum organized a grand elocution competition among ten different schools at Brij Bihari School Inter College, Shivkuti. This annual project is being organized successfully for many years with the support of the school director Dr. Rishi Sahay.

The chief guest of the program, Dr. Avinash Kumar Srivastava said that Hindi is our identity and events based on this language should be held several times a year. The jury included Dr. Kripa Kinjal, Rotarian Piyush Ranjan Agarwal, President, Shri Agrasen Agarwal Samaj Prayagraj and D G R H Rotarian Ajay Sharma. All the guests were honored with mementoes and shawls.

Rotary Platinum President Dr. Pratik Pandey welcomed the students, teachers and the gathering and said, “Every child who participates in a competition is actually a winner. The result of the competition depends only on the performance on that day.”

The topic of the competition was “Artificial Intelligence: Beneficial or Harmful”, on which the students presented their views for and against in an impressive manner.

In this competition, first prize was given to Shraddha Singh, second prize to Ankit Saroj, third prize to Divya Verma and 15 consolation prizes were awarded. All the winners and participants were encouraged by giving them trophies, medals and certificates. The program was conducted by Charter President Rotarian Ritesh Singh and BBS School teacher Rashmi Shukla, who encouraged the children with their inspiring words.

School Principal Rajni Sharma, Coordinator Ranjit Singh and Director Dr. Rishi Sahay were given special honors for organizing this inspiring event every year. Refreshments were also arranged for all the guests present. At the end of the program, Club Secretary Rotarian Sanjay Talwar presented the Secretary’s Report and Dr. Rishi Sahay gave the vote of thanks. Rotary Treasurer Sanjay Singh, Media Incharge Manish Garg, Members Jai Kumar, Manoj Jaiswal, Uphaar Jaiswal, Former President Shashank Jain and Arindam Ghosh had a special contribution in making this event successful. Media Incharge Manish Garg said, “It is a matter of pride for Rotary Prayagraj Platinum to provide a platform to the talent of children on an occasion like Hindi Diwas. Such competitions further strengthen the confidence and expression ability of children.”
