Prayagraj: The pre-primary section Patanjali Nursery School of Patanjali Group of Schools, celebrated Navratri and Dussehra with great devotion and enthusiasm in the R.K. hall on Friday. The program beautifully showcased the essence of Indian culture and values. The celebration began with the Birth of Shri Ram followed by the Sita Swaymvar majestically by the Nursery. The little ones were dressed as King Dasharath, Queen Kaushalya , Shri Ram, Lakshman and Sita .The tiny tots enacted the story with innocence and charm, leaving everyone in awe.
The KG children then presented a captivating and dramatic portrayal of the epic scenes from the Ramayana- beginning with the poignant ” Sita haran ” followed by the spirited depiction of the building of the Ram setu.The little performers with their radiant smiles and heartfelt expressions won the hearts of all present there. The celebration was followed showcasing the Nine forms of Goddess Durga and the Mahishasur Vadh by Prep students. The Mahishasur Vadh dance drama filled the atmosphere with devotion and power.
The highlight of the event was the bursting of the balloons as Ravan’s ten head in a symbolic gesture. The children enthusiastically burst the heads of Ravan under the gracious invitation of the director of the school Rekha Baid Gupta and Headmistress Vibha Srivastava Ma’am signifying the triumph over the ten vices within. The joyful participation of the children filled the hall with cheer as chants of Jai Shri Ram echoed in unison, creating a truly divine and spirited atmosphere. Delivering the concluding message, the school director lovingly told the little ones that Dussehra teaches us to be always be good and kind. The Headmistress of the school in her message, encourage the children to choose the right path and say no to bad habits and keep beautiful and happy thoughts in their minds. The efforts of the children and the teachers were appreciated by all.
