9th Asian Softball Tennis Championship

Prayagraj: Kumari Muskan Yadav, a former student of the Department of Physical Education, SHUATS, Prayagraj, won the bronze medal in the mixed team event at the 9th Asian Softball Tennis Championship held in Korea in September 2025. She was warmly honored on the university campus for this outstanding achievement on Friday. She was presented with a memento and a bouquet. Emotional at the university’s honour, Muskan Yadav said in that the support she received from the Department of Physical Education and the Athletic Committee would be a lifelong memory. She expressed her gratitude to her mentors for their support in her studies and sports. Professor (Dr.) CJ Wesley, Chairman of the Athletic Committee and Additional Registrar, called Komal a hero to the university’s athletes. Ashish Massey, Head of the Department of Physical Education, said, “Muskan, you are a proud part of this department’s history” and offered his blessings, calling her a “daughter of the department.” Dr. Achint Terence, Assistant Professor, Rakesh Sahu, Assistant Professor, Mohammad Majid, Tanveer Ahmed, Amber Gupta, and other members of the university team offered their blessings for a bright future for Kumari Muskan Yadav.
