Dinesh Singh, District President of Indian Jewellers and Jewellers Association, said that shopping has increased in the market during the festive season. The markets of the city’s Chowk Loknath were decorated. There was so many crowds in the markets that it became difficult for people to walk. In view of the crowd, the police administration had banned the entry of e-rickshaws and four-wheelers half a kilometer before the markets. People went to the markets on foot and kept busy shopping. Lakshmi’s blessings showered on the markets all night and there was a heavy rain of money. Due to inflation, Ganesh Lakshmi and jewellery made of silver, gold and brass were purchased.
