Prayagraj: In the quarter-final match of the Basti Soccer League state level club football competition started in Basti, Ballers Eleven Gorakhpur entered the semi-finals by defeating Northern Football Academy 5-4 in a tiebreaker in a tough match. According to the academy’s chief coach Indranil Ghosh, in the first half of the match, Northern’s Alok Prajapati scored the first goal on Harshit Ojha’s pass and the second goal on Mahendra’s pass, giving the team a two-goal lead in the first half. In the second half of the game, the players of Bowlers Eleven scored two goals and the match ended in a 2-2 draw.

In the tiebreaker, Northern’s Harshit, Shadab, Alok, Abhishek scored while the opposition goalkeeper made a brilliant save on Mahendra’s last shot to give the team a 5-4 win.
