Prayagraj: On the occasion of Devutthaan Ekadashi, the completion of Shri Vishnu Mahayagya was done by Shri Tulsi Vivah Mahotsav Samiti at Tara Sangat Ashram, Malviya Nagar. After that, under the leadership of the committee’s founder Santoshanand Acharya and president Krishna Bhagwan Kesarwani, the wedding procession of Lord Shaligram Ji and the grand procession of Mata Tulsi Ji started from Rani Mandi. Mayor Ganesh Kesarwani, MLC Man Singh Yadav, patron Hariom Sahu, former vice-president of Municipal Corporation Sushil Yadav, Pradeep Jaiswal, Ajay Chaurasia, former councilor Vijay Vaishya, Rajiv Krishna Bunty, Dinesh Singh, Amresh Jaiswal, Neeraj Jaria, Satya Jaiswal, Rajesh Kesarwani performed aarti and pujan of Lord Shaligram and Mata Tulsi. Media in-charge Rajesh Kesarwani told that the wedding procession concluded at Tara Sangat Ashram, Malviya Nagar via Loknath Square, Bahadurganj, Ram Bhavan, Mutthiganj Basmandi. After that, the marriage of Mata Tulsi and Lord Shaligram Ji was solemnized as per the complete marriage rituals and the groom was worshipped by Sushil Yadav. DJ band, brass band, flags etc. were not included in the wedding procession. Women, wearing yellow clothes, were filled with joy, dancing and singing while chanting the praises of Mother Tulsi and Lord Shaligram.

On this occasion, Sarika Yadav, Vijayalakshmi Jaiswal, Rani Kesarwani, Lata Upadhyay, Kalavati, Uma Singh Baghel, Preeti Rawat, Mamta Mishra, Manju Jaiswal, Reena Chaurasia, Anita Gupta, Dharmendra Kesarwani, Ravindra Jaiswal, etc. were present along with hundreds of committee workers.
