Prayagraj: The two-day “Alok Smriti Rangotsav,” organized by Vinod Rastogi Smriti Sansthan, will begin on Wednesday, at the Ravindralaya Auditorium, Golden Jubilee School Campus, Georgetown. The program will begin at 7 p.m. each day. This Rangotsav is dedicated to the sacred memory of late Alok Rastogi, founder secretary of the institute.
On the inaugural evening, the institute’s artistes will stage the comedy play ‘Dulha Bhai’, directed by Ajay Mukherjee. According to Abhilash Narayan, President of the Institute, “The aim of Rangotsav is to connect the audience with various art forms and carry forward the rich stream of Indian culture through the integrated expression of drama and dance.”
He informed that the founder secretary of the institute, Alok Rastogi ji, had passed away in the month of August this year, hence this festival has been dedicated to his memory as a tribute.
