Prayagraj. Addressing the grand Hindu conference organized under the auspices of the Sakal Hindu Samaj, Ganganagar Prayagraj, Engineer D.N. Shukla, emphatically underscored the eternal and everlasting tradition of Sanatan Dharma. He said that if any religion has consistently guided humanity from the beginning of creation to the present day, it is Sanatan Dharma. Starting his address with a verse from the Bhagavad Gita, he said, “Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitah,” meaning, “Dharma protects those who protect Dharma.” Engineer Shukla said that Sanatan Dharma is not a product of any particular era, but an eternal system of life, based on truth, compassion, duty, and harmony. Quoting a couplet from Shri Ramcharitmanas, he said, “There is no religion greater than helping others, there is no sin greater than causing pain to others.” Through this couplet, he explained that the fundamental principle of Sanatan Dharma is altruism and human welfare, which makes it the most sublime and scientific religion in the world. Engineer Shukla further presented a verse from the Gita and said, “Yada yada hi dharmasya glanirbhavati bharat, abhyutthanamdharmasya tadatmanam srijamyham.” He said that whenever religion is under threat, Sanatan consciousness emerges in new forms and gives society direction. This is why civilizations have changed, regimes have changed, but Sanatan Dharma has remained steadfast. Through a couplet from the Ramayana, he conveyed the message of unity to society, saying, “The tradition of the Raghukul clan has always been, life may be given but promises cannot be given.” He said that truth, commitment and morality are the hallmarks of Sanatan Dharma, and these values ​​strengthen the nation. The saints, intellectuals, and devotees present at the conference welcomed Engineer Shukla’s powerful thoughts with thunderous applause. The entire atmosphere echoed with chants of “Vande Mataram.” The organizers said that such grand events strengthen culture, values, and national consciousness in society and connect the younger generation with their eternal pride.
