Prayagraj: The Deputy Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, Pramod Tiwari, said that the working style of the BJP is similar to the British policy of “divide and rule.” The party has no concern for basic issues such as inflation or unemployment. Today, there is not Ram Raj in the country, but Godse Raj. Addressing the closing ceremony of the Vishesh Samarth Prashikshan Sivir of the Pradesh Congress Seva Dal held at the Magh Mela, as the chief guest, he said that by shutting down the important rural employment scheme MNREGA, the central government has once again committed the murder of Gandhiji’s ideals. With the closure of MNREGA, rural development will come to a halt, and for its restoration, the Congress will compel the government just as it was forced to withdraw the Kisan Kanoon.
He said that BJP is another name for deceit, and Prime Minister Modi is its synonym, who instead of talking about public welfare and national interest, remains focused on fulfilling the selfish interests of Industrialists.
Praising the Seva Dal, Tiwari said that it was formed against the atrocities of British rule and played a vital role in strengthening the Congress. Loyalty, dedication, ideological awareness, and discipline are the greatest strengths of the Seva Dal. Tiwari said that the country is passing through an extremely difficult phase, which is a matter of serious concern. He alleged that whether it is the central government or BJP governments in the states, their work is to spread hatred. The growing politics of hatred is increasingly becoming a tool to serve the selfish interests of the BJP instead of public welfare and national interest. One cannot even imagine that a government would issue an order stating that Muslims cannot use the water of Haridwar.
The National Secretary incharge of the Congress, Rajesh Tiwari, hoisted the flag at the camp amid the chanting of the Vande Mataram song. While conducting the proceedings, Dr. Pramod Pandey, President of the Pradesh Congress Seva Dal, threw extensive light on the history of the Seva Dal. Former MLA Vijay Prakash, City Congress Committee President Fuzail Hashmi, Sudhakar Tiwari, Gaurav Pandey, Kishore Varshney, Harikesh Tripathi, Mukund Tiwari, Tasleem Uddin, Shri Prakash Mishra, Sanjay Tiwari, Arun Tiwari, Anil Pandey, Anupam Shrivastava, Abhijeet Kushwaha, Kaushalesh Pathak, Afsana Ansari, and hundreds of others were present. Later, Tiwari also distributed certificates to the office bearers of the Seva Dal.
