Youth Demands Employment Yatra – Day 2
Prayagraj: On the second day of the “Youth Demands Employment” march, being organized under the aegis of the Pragatisheel Samaj Party (Yuva Morcha), street corner meetings were held today for competitive students and youth in various areas of the city, including University Road, Laxmi Square, and Manmohan Park. During these meetings, the youth expressed strong anger over unemployment, pending recruitments, paper leaks, and delays in recruitment processes. Addressing the gathering, Pragatisheel Samaj Party National President, Engineer Sunil Kushwaha, stated that today’s youth are unemployed despite their hard work, qualifications, and preparation. Millions of government positions are vacant, but the government is proving completely ineffective in recruiting and completing them on time. Paper leaks and incomplete recruitments are a blatant threat to the future of the youth. Youth now demand solid employment, not just assurances.
He further stated that the “Youth Demands Employment Yatra” is not a program of any one party, but a fight for the rights and future of the youth. If the government does not take concrete steps in time, this movement will intensify. Meanwhile, State Vice President Ajit Patel said that the youth of Uttar Pradesh are facing the maximum unemployment. The uncertainty of competitive exams has broken the youth mentally and financially. The participation of a large number of youth from across the state in the ‘Rozgar Panchayat’ to be held on January 23 will give a decisive turn to this movement.
At the end of the program, the youth were called upon to reach the Rozgar Panchayat in maximum numbers on January 23. On this occasion, the State General Secretary of Pragatisheel Samaj Party Yuva Morcha, Nishtha Dev, Mandal in-charge of Mazdoor Sangh Naveen Vidyarthi, student leader Allahabad University Ankit Maurya, Ranjeet Singh, Satendra and many others were prominently present.
