Prayagraj: The third day of the seven-day special camp organized under the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit (Units-41, 42, 43) at Hamidia Girls Degree College, a constituent minority college of Prayagraj/Allahabad University, concluded very successfully and in an inspiring atmosphere. The camp activities were organized in accordance with the main theme of “Youth Empowerment, Digital Development and Sustainability”.
An eye check-up camp was held on the college campus in the first shift, where volunteer students, as well as faculty and staff, underwent thorough eye exams. This health-oriented initiative increased awareness among participants about regular health checkups. A large number of people enthusiastically participated in the camp. In the second shift, a special lecture was organized on the topic “Empowerment of Youth: Techniques and Tools of Career Development.” Special guests present provided career guidance to the students.
At the beginning of the program, the college faculty honored the guests with floral tributes (flower plants). The college’s Vice Principal warmly welcomed all the guests in her inspiring address. As the keynote speaker— Mohammad Rafiq (PES), Department: Secondary Education, Prayagraj and Raju Yadav (PES), Law Officer, Directorate of Education, Prayagraj. They elaborated on youth empowerment, effective career development techniques, the potential for success for female students, new government schemes, and important aspects related to the budget. Sharing their life experiences, the speakers conveyed the message of persistent hard work, goal-setting, and a positive attitude. A video presentation also conveyed the inspiring message that by continuously moving toward a goal, one automatically receives the support of society and the environment.
The students were deeply inspired by the guests’ insights and guidance. They resolved to work hard and achieve success in their academic and professional lives. The third day of the NSS camp proved to be an important step towards the overall development of the volunteers through health awareness, career guidance, and motivational dialogue. The day’s activities strengthened the students’ sense of social responsibility, self-confidence, and a positive outlook on the future.
