Prayagraj: The annual function of the Jhunsi branch of St. Columbus Group of Schools was celebrated with great enthusiasm on Saturday. The program was started by garlanding and lighting lamps on the picture of Goddess Saraswati by the chief guest, Councilor Babita Yadav, school director Shashi Tiwari and special guests Vidyadhar Tripathi, Passenger Tax Superintendent, Uttar Pradesh Transport Department and Dr. V.K. Mishra, District Minister, Uttar Pradesh Pensioners Welfare Society, HR Ma’am Chris Wells.
Children presented various cultural programmes. Children tried to give many messages to the society through programs like songs, drama, dance, speech etc. In his address, the chief guest praised the children’s programme and said that such events showcase the all-round development of children. The children’s program was greatly appreciated by the parents. Children such as Suhani, Shrejal, Ishika, Anshika, Artika Pushkar, Aaradhya, Ayush, Sakshi, Sarthak, Anshuman, Kartik, Yashika, Nandini, Rudra, and others gave their performances. Principal of Bailey branch Razia Khan and Captain SN Dubey of Hanumanganj branch, Coordinator Shubham Awasthi, Sonam Mishra, Sandeep Tripathi, teachers Sonam, Shikha, Varsha, Aarti, Sandhya, Bhavana, Lalita, Abhishek Maya, along with all the supporting staff were present. Finally, the Principal expressed her gratitude to the principals from all branches, guests, and parents. The program was conducted by Rohit Tiwari, Abhishek Pandey, Shweta, Shikha, and Varsha.
