Prayagraj: The city Congress Committee officials have expressed deep grief over the death of state minister with independent charge and Samajwadi Party, former MLA from Chail district, Kaushambi, democracy fighter Radheshyam Bhartiya (73). In the condolence meeting held at the party office in Chowk under the chairmanship of city president Fuzail Hashmi, Bhartiya was described as a dedicated socialist leader. It was said that besides being a militant leader of the proletariat, he was also the president of Allahabad Mandal Vikas Nigam. During this, a two-minute silence was also observed for the peace of the departed soul. Bhartiya was unwell for some days, he died of a heart attack at 12 noon on Wednesday at his residence in Indraprastha Colony, Mumfordganj.
