Prayagraj: Manoj Gupta, a music teacher at Rani Revati Devi Saraswati Vidya Niketan Inter College, has been announced to receive the Academy Award from the Uttar Pradesh Sangeet Natak Academy for his outstanding contribution to the field of light music (singing). Manoj Gupta has been active in the field of music for the past 38 years and has had the opportunity to perform on many prestigious platforms. He has been honored by performing before Vice President Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma, President APJ Abdul Kalam and President Kovind, the Prime Minister, Chief Ministers, and Governors. Manoj Gupta has received over 200 honors by giving memorable performances at all the major festivals, cities, and prestigious cultural platforms across the country and state.
