Prayagraj: Twenty-eight fasts of the holy month of Ramadan have been completed so far and the servants of Allah have prayed and recited the Holy Quran with great enthusiasm and have not missed any opportunity to get close to Allah. They have fulfilled every small and big need of the poor and needy and have thanked Allah that O Lord, you have made me capable of helping people, may my Lord continue to be kind to us servants in the same way. According to Syed Mohammad Askari, General Secretary of Ummul Baneen Society, on the twenty-eighth Ramadan too, in Muslim areas like Karaili, Dariyabad, Rani Mandi, Shahganj, Akbarpur, Rasulpur, Hatia, Bahadurganj, Bakshi Bazaar, Barntala, Minhajpur, etc., where people got the opportunity to earn rewards by organizing Roza Iftar parties, Iftar was also distributed to the neighboring houses.
Today, March 19th, is the twenty-ninth day of Ramadan. If the moon is sighted today, Eid is likely to be celebrated on Friday. Otherwise, it could be the 30th day of Ramadan, Friday, and the last Friday of the holy month. In such a situation, the Jummatul Wida prayer will be offered once again, and the Eid ul Fitr prayer will be offered on Saturday. It will also be a coincidence that five Fridays fall in the one-month Ramadan. Ulama have appealed to the people to sight the moon.
