Prayagraj: After being anointed as the Jagadguru of the Sri Panchadashanam Juna Akhara, His Holiness Jagadguru Swami Chakrapani Nand Giri Ji Maharaj arrived in the holy city of Prayagraj for the first time. On this historic occasion, following the orders of his Gurudev, he first arrived at the Triveni Sangam in the morning and performed the ritualistic worship.
He then visited and worshipped at the Veni Madhav Temple, followed by a visit to the Maharishi Bharadwaj Ashram to remember and pay obeisance to the Saptarishis. He also visited the major pilgrimage sites throughout Prayagraj and offered prayers with devotion at the Maa Lalita Devi Temple.
After this, Jagadguru Maharaj Mauj Giri reached Juna Akhara, Kidganj, where he received the blessings of his revered Gurudev, the patron of Shri Panchdashnam Juna Akhara, Pujya Shri Hari Giri Ji Maharaj and contemplated extensively on the subjects of religion and national interest. On this auspicious occasion, senior BJP leader of Prayagraj, Kumar Narayan, along with dozens of his companions, gave a grand welcome and felicitation to Jagadguru Swami Chakrapani Ji Maharaj by garlanding him and tying a turban on him. He said that it is a matter of great pride for all of us that Swami Chakrapani Ji Maharaj has been conferred the title of Jagadguru by Juna Akhara. He announced that grand welcome programs will be organized in honor of Jagadguru Maharaj in Prayagraj and the entire country. He also said that Shri Panchdashnam Juna Akhara will also be felicitated and welcomed throughout the country, and soon a grand welcome program will be organized for Swami Ji in Prayagraj.
At the event, many devotees, including Kaushlendra Nath Singh “Saurabh,” son of Chaudhary Jitendra Nath Singh, Senior Vice President of the KP Trust, received blessings from Jagadguru Maharaj. Kaushlendra Nath Singh said that it is a matter of pride for all of us that Swami Chakrapani Ji Maharaj has been elevated to the position of Jagadguru.
Speaking to journalists on this occasion, Jagadguru Swami Chakrapani Ji Maharaj said that soon “Hindu Swabhiman Yatra” will be taken out across the country, the objective of which will be to ensure protection of religion, cow protection, security of temples and protection of saints and cow devotees.
When asked by journalists about the murder of cow devotee Parsa Baba in Vrindavan, he said that he has full faith that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ji will not spare the culprits under any circumstances and justice will be ensured soon. Jagadguru Maharaj said that after discussion with his revered Gurudev, a nationwide “Hindu Swabhiman Yatra” will be started with the cooperation of Shri Panchdashnam Juna Akhara, various Hindu organizations and religious institutions.
He said that his life’s purpose has always been to protect religion, the nation, and Hindu self-respect. His role as a key player in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi movement, his courageous actions against anti-national forces, and his work for the respect of Hindu society are well known. This honor is not just his, but the honor of the entire nationalist and religious community. Sumit Srivastava, R.K.
