Prayagraj: On the occasion of World Theatre Day, the city’s prestigious theatre organization, Vinod Rastogi Smriti Sansthan, Prayagraj, is organizing a special, thought-provoking and informative symposium on Friday. The main theme of this symposium, which will be held at 10:30 a.m. in the premises of the Maharashtra Public Service Board, Alopibagh, is “The Importance of Theatre in Education.”
According to the institute’s president, prominent figures from the worlds of art and education will be present to deliberate on this important topic. Dr. Mukesh Upadhyay, Deputy Director of the North Central Zone Cultural Centre (NCZCC), will be the keynote speaker. Dr. Ashwini Kumar Singh and Dr. Arun Srivastava (PhD Dramatics) from the Department of Film Studies at the Regional Centre of Mahatma Gandhi International Hindi University (Wardha), Jhunsi, Prayagraj, will also present their insightful views on the topic. President Abhilash Narayan stated that this symposium will be especially beneficial for students, theatre artists, and researchers. Admission to the event is free.
