Prayagraj: More than 50 thousand children studying in the schools of the district have not yet updated the biometrics of their Aadhaar. The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) is running a campaign to update the Aadhaar of these children. Under the direction of the UIDAI’s Lucknow regional office, camps are being set up in schools to update the Aadhaar of children. Apart from this, the Aadhaar of children is also being updated at the local UIDAI office. The special thing is that no fee is charged for updating the Aadhaar of children aged seven to 17 years. The manager of the UIDAI Prayagraj center said that the local UIDAI center, which was previously located in front of Auto Sales on Kanpur Road, has now shifted to the first floor of the US Tower in front of the Legend Hotel. This center remains open on Sundays as well as other holidays.
