Prayagraj: Demanding the resolution of seven collective problems of teachers in aided secondary schools in Prayagraj and the resolution of problems of hundreds of teachers pending in the office for years, the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Teachers’ Association (Thakurai Group) has decided to conduct a phased Satyagraha at the District School Inspector, Prayagraj, from April 15, 2026. The Thakurai Group delegation informed the District School Inspector, Prayagraj, of this information today.

Giving the above information, the State General Secretary of the organization, Lalmani Dwivedi, said that the teachers of the district will conduct a Satyagraha for 2 hours every day at the District School Inspector’s office from 15th April 2026 till the resolution of the problems, demanding that the NPS contribution of the teachers included in the old pension scheme from NPS be deposited in their GPF account, the contribution of the last 9 months deducted from the teachers’ account in NPS be immediately invested in their PRAN account, the NPS contribution be invested along with the payment of salary for April 2026 as per the order of the Director of Education dated 03rd February 2025, the wrong entries of thousands of teachers of the district be corrected on the Manav Sampada portal and the collection of money in the name of Form-16 for income tax return be immediately stopped even after the order of the Director of Education and allocation of funds by the Finance Controller.

He also informed that the medical dues of Mr. Upendra Shukla, assistant teacher at Mahabal Singh Inter College, Lehri, and Mrs. Sapna Yadav of Radha Raman Mahila Inter College, Naini, have not been paid in the last two years. Similarly, the dues of hundreds of teachers are pending in the office. District President Dr. Sunil Kumar Shukla, Vice President Dharmendra Singh, Anjani Kumar Kushwaha, Yogesh Kumar Mishra, Baijnath Singh, Mohan Chaudhary Ratipal, and others were present in today’s delegation.
