Prayagraj: In view of the problem of pure drinking water in the wake of the scorching heat, the social organization Madad Foundation has taken a commendable initiative and proposed to the administration to install free water coolers and water tanks in the city. In this sequence, today the organization’s team, under the leadership of patron Dinesh Tiwari and founder Mangala Prasad Tiwari, submitted a memorandum to District Magistrate Prayagraj Manish Verma and Mayor Ganesh Kesarwani. The memorandum demanded to ensure the provision of free drinking water at various public places, intersections and areas where the destitute stay. The administration praised this initiative and called it an important step in public interest. The District Magistrate and Mayor also directed the concerned departments to take necessary action immediately.
It is noteworthy that in 2025, thanks to the tireless efforts of the Madad Foundation, water tanks and water coolers were installed at several prominent locations in Prayagraj, providing relief to millions of needy, destitute, and ordinary citizens. This was appreciated by the general public. The Madad Foundation has been playing an active role in social service for several years. Under the “Sunday Kitchen” campaign, the organization provides nutritious home-cooked meals, clean water, medicines, clothing, and other essential amenities free of charge to those living on the footpaths. Founder Mangala Prasad Tiwari, Patron Dinesh Tiwari, District President Prayagraj Arvind Pandey, Bundelkhand Incharge Vivek Mishra, and several members of the organization were present on this occasion. The organization appealed to all sections of society to cooperate in this noble cause, so that the thirst of as many people as possible can be quenched during the scorching heat.
