Prayagraj: Dozens of people took membership of the party at the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen AIMIM workers’ convention chaired by Metropolitan President Afsar Mahmood, in which Engineer Wahajuddin Siddiqui was nominated as Treasurer, Tanveer Shakir Tannu as Assembly City South President, Aslam Khan as Metropolitan Secretary and Ansar Ahmed as President of Ward No. 44. In the convention, guidelines were given to all the office bearers of the Metropolitan unit to prepare for the Purvanchal convention to be held in Mahul Azamgarh on April 5, 2026, where thousands of people from across the district are expected to attend. Prominent people present at the convention included Metropolitan Organization Minister Syed Irshad Alam, Metropolitan Vice President Iftekhar Ansari, Riazul Haq Chaudhary, Ejaz Naqvi, Iftekhar Ahmed, Zubair Ahmed, Tarannum, Shazia Parveen, Adeeb Ali, Fuzail Ahmed, Aslam Khan, Alameen Ali, Hashim Ali, Gudiya, Shaheen Bano, Mohammad Shahnawaz, Shaheen Firdous, Malika Bano, Irshad Ansari, Mohammad Imran, Mohammad. People like Danish, Adil Khan, Rehan Ahmed, Israr Ahmed, Mohammad Ahmed Shahzade, Mohammad Ayaz, Noor Alam etc. were present.
