Prayagraj: Serious concern was expressed about the issue of so-called love jihad at an awareness program organized by the Prayagraj unit of the Hindu Beti Bachao Sangharsh Samiti, Kashi Province, in the auditorium of Jwala Devi Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College, Civil Lines. Keynote speaker Hitesh urged Hindu girls and their parents to be extra vigilant. Hitesh said that in today’s times, there is a need to seriously understand the cases of systematically influencing Hindu girls emotionally and establishing relationships by concealing their identities. He said that in many incidents, an atmosphere of trust is first created, and later, a situation of social, religious, and mental pressure arises. He clearly told the students and women present, “Become Durga, be Kali, but never wear a burqa.”

He said that Hindu women should seek complete information and verify the truth before entering into any relationship or decision. He also urged parents to maintain communication with their daughters and regularly educate them. He also mentioned issues like corporate jihad, calling it a matter of widespread social awareness. Referring to the film Kerala Story and the infamous Hadiya case in Kerala, Hitesh said that society needs to learn lessons from such cases. He stated that this is not just a personal issue but a matter of social consciousness, on which families, society, and organizations must work together. During the program, women, students, and social workers present were urged to spread the awareness campaign to every household and to verify the truth before falling prey to any kind of misinformation or confusion. The program was chaired by the committee chairman.

On this occasion, a memorandum addressed to the Chief Minister will be given to the District Magistrate Prayagraj on 25th April from all the districts to make a strict law. On this occasion, at the state level, Provincial Vice President of Hindu Beti Bachao Sangharsh Samiti and Advocate Devendra Narayan Pandey, Sudha Tiwari, Abha, Seema Chaturvedi, Anjana, Reshma, Advocate Krishna ji Shukla, member Yogeshwar Kumar Shukla Yogi, Surya Prakash Tripathi, Kamal Dev Pandey, Manish Dwivedi etc were present. The program was conducted by the Executive Member of the State, Ratnesh Chaturvedi.
