Gita chanting presentation spellbounds one & all
Prayagraj: An Orientation program was organised in Vivekanand Auditorium of MPVM Ganga Gurukulam School. The program aimed to familiarize new students and their parents with the school’s environment, working methodology, school’s achievements and values. The program started with lighting of the lamp accompanied by a soulful Saraswati Vandana performed by the new students of the school. It filled the entire atmosphere with positivity and spiritual energy. Following this, the Principal, Madhuri Srivastava, warmly welcomed all the guests, parents, and students in Ganga Gurukulam family. She highlighted the school’s educational policies, the importance of value-based education and discipline. She made the parents aware about the vision of the school. She inspired the new students to excel in the session ahead.
The Bhagavad Gita holds special importance at Ganga Gurukulam. Therefore, the students of classes 6 to 8 recited selected verses from the Gita and that was a major highlight of the program. This Gita chanting presentation connected the audience with Indian culture and spiritual values. This was followed by a PowerPoint presentation that effectively showcased the school’s achievements and regular activities. Through this PPT, the parents came to know about the school, its congenial atmosphere, values, teaching methods, policies, procedures and extracurricular activities which give new opportunities to all the students beyond the classroom teaching.
In the cultural program, a captivating English song was performed by new students of class 9 and a vibrant group dance was performed by new students of classes 3 to 9. Afterwards, the school song was presented by the primary students and this performance touched everyone’s heart.
At the end of the program, the coordinator of the middle section, Ms Rinku Srivastava concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing her gratitude to all the guests, parents and teachers for giving their cooperation and valuable time. She appreciated the new students for being a part of this wonderful orientation program. Thus, this memorable event proved to be not only informative but also inspiring, instilling enthusiasm, positive energy and excitement for the new students in the new session 2026-27.
