Public awareness seminar organized by UP Crime Prevention Committee and Police Dept

Prayagraj: A public awareness seminar was organized today in the Reserve Police Line Commissionerate auditorium under the aegis of Uttar Pradesh Police and Uttar Pradesh Crime Prevention Committee Branch- Prayagraj. The program was conducted under the direction of the Police Commissioner and the Chairman of the Committee. IPS Ishwar Lal Gurjar was the chief guest of the program. Former Divisional Commissioner RS ​​Verma presided over the program, while the keynote speaker was Committee Secretary Santosh Kumar. Dr. Prabhakar Tripathi conducted the program.

In the meeting, RS Verma and Santosh Kumar told that in the spirit of ‘Police Mitra’, the volunteers of the committee, with a spirit of selfless service, help the police in disaster, peace-keeping, crowd control and on special festivals like Eid, Muharram, Holi, Dussehra, fair. Also, they go to schools and colleges and spread awareness about traffic rules, cyber crime and crimes related to women. Chief guest Ishwar Lal Gurjar said that today more deaths are occurring in road accidents due to non-compliance of traffic rules than in murders.

He instructed each station in-charge member to meet with the station in-charge and create a WhatsApp group of station officers and members to ensure better coordination. RS Verma said that station in-charges and members with better coordination will be rewarded.

Officers of all police station committees were present in the seminar. From the central committee, Laxmikant Mishra, Shoaib Alam, Rajesh Kumar, Arjun Singh, Ajit Kumar Sinha, Sanjay Upadhyay, VK Srivastava, Ashok Kumar Shukla, Qayamuddin, Waqar Ahmed Ansari, Subhash Chandra Kakkar, Jitendra Srivastava, Vishal Srivastava, Kuldeep Dhar, Usha Singh, Manju Rani Pandey, Priyanka Parashar, Hinch Lal Singrour, Ashok Singh, Amit Vishwakarma and other members participated. Sandeep Soni, Arjun Singh, Rakesh Sharma, Rajesh Nishad Khanna and Rakesh Nishad helped in the arrangements. The arrangements of the auditorium were handled by Inspector First Vinod Kumar Singh. In the end, Dr. RS Verma thanked everyone.
