Prayagraj: Former KP Trust presidential candidate Rajnikant Srivastava said that the Yogi government in the state is fully committed to fairness and the rule of law. The government does not tolerate any form of bullying, encroachment, or injustice and takes strict action against those found guilty. He added that some anti-social elements and some officials and employees attempt to tarnish the government’s image, which is highly condemnable.
He stated clearly that when the government cracks down on bullies, such individuals attempt to spread confusion by claiming to be close to public representatives or those in power. Srivastava appealed to activists, public representatives, and responsible citizens not to provide any protection to such elements, so as not to tarnish the government’s dignity and image.
In this context, he described the case of Praveen Kumar Srivastava, a resident of Salempur village, Pakdi Lala, Deoria district, as serious, saying that the victim’s family had complained of incidents such as land encroachment, assault, and threats. Srivastava demanded that the administration conduct an impartial investigation into the matter and take strict action against the culprits, ensuring safety and justice for the victim’s family.
He said that a delegation will soon meet the Deoria administration and the Chief Minister of the state and demand justice in this case, so that the victim’s family’s faith in the government and administration remains intact and the rule of law can be maintained.
