Rotary North felicitates football coaches Indranil Ghosh, Sunil Nigam, Ravi Sondhia

Prayagraj: In the Rotary Allahabad North Cup U13 Football League competition held on Thursday at the football ground of Vishnu Bhagwan Public School, Jhalwa, Prayagraj, Northern Football Academy became the champion, Vishnu Bhagwan Public School became the runner-up and Golden Hawks became the second runner-up. Umang Agarwal, Secretary of Rotary Allahabad North welcomed and felicitated today’s chief guest, former international basketball player and Vice President of Uttar Pradesh Basketball Association, RS Bedi.

According to Organizing Secretary Indranil Ghosh, Northern Football Academy won four and lost one match in the competition and became the champion by scoring 12 points while Vishnu Bhagwan Public School was the runner-up with nine points and Golden Hawks finished third with eight points. Chief Guest RS Bedi awarded all the winners and runners-up. The Player of the Tournament award was given to Northern Football Academy’s captain Utkarsh Gupta while the Emerging Player of the Tournament title was given to Vishnu Bhagwan’s Sparsh Singh.

Rotary Allahabad North Club honored football coaches Indranil Ghosh, Sunil Nigam, and Ravi Sondhia for their outstanding contributions to the sport and for providing excellent training to players at the state and national levels. Umang Agarwal expressed his gratitude. The U17 age group matches in this competition will begin tomorrow, May 15th.
