Attempt to break gate by brandishing a pistol, two accused arrested

A midnight attack and vandalism has occurred at the home of advocate Sandeep Maurya in Rajapur Bailey Colony, Uchhwagarhi, located in the Cantonment police station area of ​​Prayagraj. It is alleged that 15 to 20 people arrived at the home under the influence of alcohol and began abusing.

According to the victim, the accused misbehaved with his elderly mother and created a ruckus outside the house. Aman Ahmed and Priyesh Srivastava brandished pistols and attempted to break down the gate. When he raised an alarm, the accused pelted stones and threatened to kill him before fleeing.

The house’s window panes, two-wheelers, and mobile phones were damaged in the attack. Based on a complaint filed by Sandeep Maurya, police have registered a case against Aman Ahmed, Priyesh Srivastava, Akash Kumar, Harsh Srivastava, Sumit Nishad, Mohit Nishad, Hamza, and other unidentified individuals. Cantt police station in-charge Amarnath Rai said that two accused, Aman and Priyash, have been arrested in the case, while the search for others is underway.
