The Data Expert office is located on Tashkent Road in the Civil Lines police station area, home to several prominent lawyers, former ministers, retired officers, and judges. Two generators are installed outside the office. It is reported that on the morning of April 17th, two scrap dealers came and stole the generator’s battery, radiator, starter, etc. The entire incident was captured on CCTV. A similar incident occurred on May 19th. Thieves stole the car battery of a shopkeeper living in the same campus. After much effort, a report was lodged under Section 305 of the INS (Bharatiya Sansthan) at the Civil Lines police station on May 15, but the thefts by thieves did not stop in the locality. Newspaper editor Aftab Ahmed alleges that thefts occurred thrice within a month and only after much effort was a report filed in one case. On the other hand, sources claim that till now more than 200 generators and battery thieves have been stolen from Civil Lines and its surrounding areas. Currently, a gang of battery thieves from generators is fully active, but the police is yet to arrest these thieves. The thieves have made the people here sleepless. Not only this, when the victims go to battery shops, the shopkeeper says that you give us old batteries, you will get a lot of relief, three-four thousand rupees will be saved automatically. But when the shopkeeper says that my battery is stolen, he is also surprised that more than 200 people have bought new batteries without any battery.
