Under aegis of Hamdard India and Inquilab Jagran
Prayagraj: A grand health awareness and free BMI testing campaign was organized under the joint aegis of Hamdard India and Inquilab Dainik Jagran. The program focused on health awareness, the promotion of Unani and Ayurvedic systems of medicine, and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle in society. The chief guest of the program was MLA and BJP leader, Engineer Mr. Harsh Vardhan Bajpai. The program was presided over by Dainik Jagran’s GM, Mr. Manish Kumar. Special guests included Dr. Waseem Ahmed, Principal of the State Unani Medical College, Syed Aarif Qadri, and Raunak Gupta, Division Officer of Civil Defense. Special participation was made by Mr. Arif Mohammad Khan, General Manager and Business Head – Inquilab, and Mr. Shoaib Ansari, Manager, Medico Marketing, from Delhi. The event was successfully hosted by Mohammad Mubashir.
Chief Guest Engineer Shri Harsh Vardhan Bajpai, in his address, stated that just as rich languages like Urdu and Sanskrit need preservation, revival, and awareness, it is equally essential to raise awareness about Unani and Ayurveda medical systems. He added that our traditional medical systems are an invaluable asset to Indian culture and health traditions, and their promotion is the need of the hour. He praised the organizers, calling the health awareness campaign a commendable initiative in the public interest.
On this occasion, Chief Guest Engineer Mr. Harshvardhan Bajpai, Dainik Jagran GM Mr. Manish Kumar, Shoaib Ansari, Inquilab newspaper’s Marketing Head Arif Mohammad Khan, and Syed Aarif Qadri jointly flagged off the “Healthy India – Hamdard India” free BMI health awareness van. This van will travel to various areas of Prayagraj to conduct free BMI checks and spread health awareness.
During the program, Syed Aarif Qadri praised the “Healthy India – Hamdard India” health awareness campaign, saying that in today’s times, it has become extremely important to make people aware about health. He said that the free BMI testing campaign run by Hamdard India is a commendable and public-friendly initiative for the society, which will provide the general public with an opportunity to be aware of their health. He said that this health awareness van, launched in Prayagraj, will visit various areas of the city to conduct free BMI testing of people and also provide them with necessary health-related advice. This campaign will especially inspire youth, women and common citizens to adopt a healthy lifestyle.
Syed Aarif Qadri further stated that not only health checkups, but also raising public awareness about Unani and Ayurvedic systems of medicine is a crucial need of the hour. He added that the campaign will also work to organize Unani and AYUSH doctors in Prayagraj and other cities, so that traditional medical systems can gain a more powerful platform.
He expressed confidence that the “Healthy India – Sympathetic India” campaign will become a powerful vehicle for health awareness, reaching diverse sections of society, and motivating people toward better health and a positive lifestyle. He also pledged his full support and active participation in this public welfare campaign.
Shoaib Ansari, who came from Delhi, informed that under the “Healthy India – Hamdard India” campaign, free BMI testing will be provided in various cities. He also highlighted the excellent quality and affordable price of medicines manufactured by Hamdard Company. On this occasion, an audio message from the Health Minister praising Hamdard India and the Inquilab Dainik Jagran program held in Delhi was also presented, which was appreciated by the audience.
Various Unani physicians, Ayush practitioners, and distinguished guests were honored at the event. Medicines were also distributed by Hamdard India. A large number of doctors, social workers, and health awareness campaigners attended the event. Finally, the organizers expressed their gratitude to all the guests, doctors, and attendees.
